I’m officially done with T25 (at least round 1 of T25)!! This program has been a game changer for me in so many ways. When I started T25 I thought I was in decent shape. I would run a couple of days a week and occasionally go to the gym. I started my first day of T25 with cardio and busted through it. I really thought I nailed it (and I did). But the next few days nailed me. I struggled through the rest of that weeks workouts with extremely sore legs. Rest day and the stretch workout saved my aching legs.
So before I go into more details about T25 and my experience I want to tell you all a little bit about why I decided to do T25. Since becoming a mom my weight has been on a little bit of a roller coaster. With both of my children I lost all of my baby weight just a few months after giving birth thanks to breastfeeding. As a matter of fact after giving birth to my second little one I lost so much weight I started to get worried. I was well below 100 lbs at one point. My lactation consultant told me to start eating more healthy fatty foods to help balance out my weight loss and so I did. Only I guess I didn’t stop at the healthy fats. I took being so skinny as a I sign that I could eat whatever I wanted.
Well guess what? All of that eating finally caught up to me around my son’s 1st birthday when he started breastfeeding less. It gradually caught up to me so I didn’t really take notice for a while. That is until that dreaded day that I woke up for church and couldn’t find anything that fit right. That afternoon my church was holding a 5k for a local charity. Without any thought or any previous running experience I decided now was the time for me to take control back. I ran my first 5k that afternoon in 48 minutes. Not the greatest time, but I finished.
Since that moment I’ve been running on a somewhat regular basis. I managed to lose a little bit of my extra weight, but even with my gym membership I just hit a plateau. I would go to the gym and not really know what I focus on. I would just guess and do some machines here and there and never really see results. I wanted results, but didn’t know where to start. That’s when a good friend of mine contacted me and invited me to join a challenge group with T25. I order my T25 Challenge Pack which included the dvds, a 30 day supply of Shakeology, recipe books, my amazing coach and access to all of the support groups I could ever want. As soon as I got my package in the mail I was ready to get started.
I started with 5 weeks of Alpha and then moved on to 5 weeks of Beta. Alpha is the foundation to get you acquainted with T25. You learn and master all of the moves and there are modified moves you can follow until you are comfortable doing the regular moves. Alpha also has a big focus on strengthening the lower body. As you move onto Beta it has more of a focus on the upper body and the core. I have to say while I enjoyed Alpha, I LOVED the Beta round. Speed 2.0 was my favorite of all of the dvds. SO much fun and an amazing workout!
So what were my results? Well I lost a total of 8 pounds. I am now maintaining the weight that I want to be at. I lost a total of 10 inches. And best of all at the end of my 10 weeks my husband has decided he wants to do T25 now! So I am now working on round 2 of T25 along with getting started on Les Mills Combat.
Beachbody has transformed the way I feel about working out. I actually look forward to working out every day. Even on my rest days I feel myself wanting to work out. I’m feeling healthier and more energetic than I’ve ever felt before and I can actually see my muscle tone! Now that I’ve finished my first Beachbody program I’m ready to start sharing my results and encouraging my friends to get active and eat healthier. If you are looking to transform your life let me know! I can help you find the program that will work for you. Email me at cyndi@https://momelite.com or leave you email address in the comments.
You look amazing! Way to go! T25 is my next BB purchase, I did Insanity and would like something that takes less time as my son is 2 and really active. I work from home, so I love beachbody!
Something that takes less time than Insanity? I might try it!
I would really love to try Insanity! It looks amazing! The 25 minutes a day won me over!
Very inspiring! T25 seems like a great way to get back into working out.
Congratulations!! This seems like it would be a great workout.
You look amazing! i do not have that kind of will power to do workouts at home.. to many distractions.
I have only recently heard of this. It sounds pretty hard, but like a great workout.
wow – looking good – go girl! 😀
Thank you!
That is awesome. Congratulations on a job well done. Motivation!
Thank you!

You look great! =) I’m on a weight loss journey myself and have been looking for something to do for exercise, will have to check T25 out.
Thank you! If you want to check out T25 or want to know about any other Beachbody program I would be happy to help you! There are SO many great programs to choose from!
you look so great!!
Thank you!
Congratulations! That is an amazing goal and you did a great work to get there! And you look amazing too 🙂
Thank you so much!
Congrats!! Thanks for the review! I’ve heard great things about that!
Thank you! It’s a great workout!
You look great! Breastfeeding can really get you…you get used to eating as much as you want, and then suddenly it all catches up with you. But it’s nice while it lasts!
Great job! It’s so easy to put on the weight, especially after kids, but it’s so hard to take off.
Awesome job! This sounds like a great workout, but I don’t know if I am fit enough for it. I tried to go all out with insanity a few weeks ago and ended up with a pinched nerve that I just got over.. I’m itching to try an at-home program again, but I should probably ease my way into it!
There are far less intense Beachbody programs. I haven’t tried Insanity, but I’ve heard it’s a really intense program. If you would like help selecting a program that would work for you let me know. I would be happy to help!
This is awesome and you look great doing it! What an inspiration!
Congratulations on your success! You look great and full of energy!
wow! You look great. I wish I would have stuck with my beachbody HipHop Abs regime!
It’s never too late to start again!
You look awesome, the results are amazing! very inspirational, I keep making excuses and this shows me how much can change if I get off my behind.
Amazing! You’re doing such a great job. You must feel so good!
Congrats on reaching a milestone with your workout! It really does feel good to stick with a workout plan and see the results. It’s such a rejuvenating feeling. You look great!
You look amazing , well done .x
Wow! I watched your video and could not believe how intense that looked. I honestly hate working out but this seems like something that I maybe need to check out. I’ve lost weight but just need to tone up so maybe it can help. Good job!
Wow! Congrats! Great post!
Congrats! I was just browsing the internet trying to find a program that was not time consuming. I think you helped me find it. Thank you!
