Wake Up Wednesday

I’m going to do something a little different today. I’m going to give you all some tough love, mainly because I needed some tough love myself this morning. Wednesdays tend to be hard days for people (or at least that’s what it seems by looking at my Facebook newsfeed). I notice my friends tend to be discouraged and looking forward to the weekend on Wednesdays. Don’t get me wrong I love my weekends too. But do you really want to spend your entire day and the rest of the week looking forward to what’s ahead of you? Or would you rather take the bull by the horns and seize the day that you have in front of you? I don’t know about you all, but I want to seize the day. Screw this whole feeling sorry for yourself, woe is me crap.

If you want to see change in your life your have to start with yourself. You have to stop playing the blame game and stop making excuses. Lead by example and treat yourself like you would want others to treat you. Treat other people as you would want them to treat you. If you want change to happen in your life you have to go after it with a positive attitude. Wouldn’t you rather go through life with a smile on your face knowing that you may brighten someone’s day?

So my challenge to you today is to find the positive in your life right now. Here is the song that I listened to on my way into my office this morning. It just happens to be one of my favorite songs and fits the tone of this blog. Enjoy!
