    James Island County Holiday Festival of Lights

    Thanksgiving 2014 my family got to spend the evening driving through the James Island County Park Holiday Festival of Lights. This corporate sponsored event featured over 750 displays and 2 million lights. This year is the 25th anniversary for the festival. We have never seen a light show so spectacular! When I talked my husband into leaving our warm beach condo to go see Christmas lights I don’t think either of us really knew the treat we were in for.     Folly Beach Family Guide

    My family recently took a trip to Folly Beach, SC. Folly Beach is by far one of our favorite vacation spots. It’s small and not overly commercialized and less than a 30 minute drive to the action of downtown Charleston. For places to stay you can find anything from a nice condo overlooking the ocean to a fully loaded beach house. We chose to stay in this beautiful 2nd row condo.
