  1. I love that backpack! I like to be prepared for almost any eventuality when I hike, which means I need a goo pack to carry it all.

  2. So my dad and stepmom are out west hiking right now and this gave me some wonderful ideas for them for Christmas! Perfect timing! Thank you!

  3. This is a great list! I’m an avid hiker and I have everything on this list (different brands). Water proof boots are a must and hiking poles for descending down a mountain are so helpful.

  4. Wow, there’s a lot of good stuffs to give to a hikers like my brother. He already have some of these but I am sure he will be happy receiving a gift of a LIGHTWEIGHT HAMMOCK on his birthday.

  5. I’ve always wanted to try the LifeStraw! I feel like it’s so helpful when camping. (Reciprocated by Natasha Romero-Salas)

  6. I don’t hike as much but my best friend does and I have been wondering what to get for her this Christmas. So would love to get her the first aid or backpack

  7. This is an awesome list of hiking and camping gear. I just recently added a LifeStraw to my pack this summer, they are amazing!

  8. There’s some great suggestions on this list. Being from the UK I found hiking in bear country for the first time just a little scary!! I haven’t come across a bear yet and hope I never do. Will certainly take bear spray with me!

  9. I love new hiking goodies! The backpack and boots both look awesome. My boots are too small and uncomfortable, and I love Columbia; I’ll have to check those out.
