    My first visit to Hot Springs, North Carolina was two days ago on Saturday May 2, 2015.     While some people associate summer with the beach, others associate summer with the mountains. If you want a great mountain get away, Asheville, NC is a great place to visit. There are lots of great hiking spots just right outside of Asheville. One great place to hike is Mount Mitchell, the highest mountain east of the Mississippi River.
