What is your biggest excuse for not working out? I don’t know about you, but my excuse USED to be that I didn’t have enough time. I had a gym membership. But between having two very busy kids, running 3 businesses and trying to maintain a sane family life a home I just couldn’t find the time I go to the gym. Not to mention the few days that I did actually get to go I would go in there and kind of blindly try to figure out what to do. I had no focus whatsoever.
That all changed back in April when I took my friends challenge and started T25. I could work out for 25 minutes a day (YES, only 25 minutes a day!) first thing in the morning. No worrying about the time it will take me to drive back and forth to the gym, taking turns with my husband staying with the kids, getting all sweaty just to have to come back home to shower and rush to get ready for work, at least the shower was a total stress reliever, with the best dual shower head I got as a gift from my husband. Those days are OVER! My routine is now wake up at 6:15, do my 25 minute workout from the comfort of my living room, have my shakeology and get the kids and myself ready for school and work.
Not only have I got past my fitness plateau, I have exceeded my fitness goals and am now maintaining the healthy and active lifestyle I’ve always wanted. I went from being able to run a slow 5K to being able to run 10K with no problems. I’ve gone from being able to hike a 2-3 mile trail to being able to hike the round trip 14 mile hike to Mount LeConte.
So here’s my challenge to you! Spend an extra 25 minutes a day on YOU! YOU deserve it!!
My team is hosting a virtual Short on Time Challenge group right now. You can choose to do T25, PiYo or a hybrid of both workouts. All of the workouts are 30 minutes or less and you WILL see results. Are you ready to take the challenge?! Email me at cyndi@https://www.momelite.com or you can get your challenge pack directly from here to get started.
I have certainly been short on time lately. I should try this. I just don’t have the time to drive to class & back right now, in addition to the class time too!

With five kids I always feel short on time, like I never have time to really do anything for myself. By the time they’re in bed for the night I am just too darn tired to go on a walk like I’m trying to push myself to do. :/

My biggest excuse now is that I have no energy after work. I am a childcare provider of a 5 month old, 7 month old, 3 yr old and 4 yr old. I am usually just so drained by the end of the day. And I just can’t get motivated to workout in the a.m.

Those are some great before and after pictures. I have to check out both of those workout programs as I am finding less and less time for the gym.

Oh, my goodness, yes. I can most definitely relate to “short on time.” I need to do *something* to look and feel better. A 25 minute workout? That might be my solution, particularly if I can do it with my kids present.

That is definitely a big excuse for me too. The transition photos look great. 25 minutes should be doable and ditto what Suzi said about ‘particularly if i can do it with my kids present’.

I’m very much an exercise slacker. I try to get in a daily walk with my little one and I’d like to start doing yoga or pilates at home again but I keep making excuses. Maybe this will help keep me on track.

I make time to workout every single day. It’s the only thing I do for myself, so I make sure I get it in.
This is great, considering Fall is around corner. Forget New Year’s resolutions. I think work outs are great to start in September. I will consider signing up to this 🙂
Your first paragraph sounds exactly like my experience! But I also couldn’t afford a gym membership. I did better when I did workouts at home. I need to back into that now that my daughter has been born!

This looks like an amazing program, good luck on it!
Such a great idea to get a group together to do the challenge together!
Wow! Awesome results! I would love to do this….hhhmmm… thinking a hard maybe!
My biggest excuse is having 5 kids, running 2 businesses and putting my kids first. As soon as they start school next week I’m definitely working on me more! =)
This is a really great challenge! I have not had enough time recently to do my workouts! This would be great!

Sometimes I think the best way to get anything done is through a challenge. I also have two busy kids. I would definitely have to do my workouts in my living room as well and that’s what I prefer anyway.

Wow, those are some awesome before and after shots! I will have to keep this in mind!
This looks awesome! Some mornings I feel guilty for not having time to head to the gym, as I’ve been working hard at getting in shape. This would be a great alternative.

i usually do really well with challenges but not long ones. usually after 30 days i start to give up. it’s not a good thing 🙁
What great motivation! I just got clearance to exercise again after a c-section. There are so many great videos on Youtube that are around 25 minutes that I can incorporate into my routine. Thanks for this share 🙂
Wow! You look great! I could do 25 minutes a day!

That’s a lot of progress from start to now. I love seeing that too, when I think back to way back when, when I started a regular routine.
This summer I was doing the T25 and I really loved it. It kicked my butt, but I love how sweaty I get in just a short amount of time. And sweating was not the only thing I love about it. It was the workout, the challenge and the result. That feeling that you get when you know you are doing something for yourself and accomplishing something. I would love to do it again though. My husband and I are getting a Gym membership soon so I am excited about it.
I’ve heard so many great things about t25.I should really look into it. I literally have very limited time so this might be just what I need!

Yup! Time is mine for sure! 25 minutes is definitely doable! I could work with that!
This is my greatest failure, having discipline and following schedules for exercise. Thanks for reminding me that I need to move and go keep myself healthy!
