More than just mom brain after a hard day, your mind can begin to suffer in numerous ways that make it harder to get through the day, if you even get up! From explosive anger to doubting yourself all the time, here are some of the worst symptoms to look out for.

Ongoing Issues Even After Good Sleep

They say that good sleep fixes everything, and to some extent, that’s true when it comes to emotions, energy, and wellness. However, it isn’t a miracle cure, and even the best sleep of your life can’t fix a genuine problem. One symptom of mental fatigue is cognitive decline, but this is usually temporary. However, booking a cognitive testing appointment is a good idea if you are an older parent and have issues such as hearing loss, memory impairment, and poor focus.

Irritability and Explosive Rage

There are many things that can leave you mentally exhausted to the point where anger and rage build inside. Noisy neighbors, the stress of work, and the cost of living are good examples. However, no one tells you that the mental fatigue of being a parent can also begin to manifest as anger.
