Goal Setting for Losing Quarantine 15

This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.

Now that I have set out to lose my quarantine 15 I need to set some goals for myself. I don’t take setting goals lightly. They need to be attainable and realistic goals. That’s why I am loving Always Eat After 7 PM. This book lays out the best ways to set goals for eating.

So here are some of my goals:

Replace Sugary Snacks With Fruits

My daughter and I have had a little too much fun baking during the quarantine. I’m going to have to cut back on those treats and replace them with some yummy healthy fruits. Luckily it’s summertime and fresh fruits are plentiful now.

“Specific higher-carbohydrate foods (including berries and cherries) support your fat-burning metabolism while you sleep, providing your body with a steady stream of fuel throughout the night. The trick is knowing how to combine them with other evening and pre-bedtime fat-burning foods to fuel your metabolism as you sleep.”

Meal Plan

Now that I have more time on my hands and I’m not rushing from one activity to the next I’ve strayed away from meal planning. I’m going to sit down with Always Eat After 7PM and plan out my meals for the week. This book does a great job of laying out some easy to follow meal plans and some yummy and healthy recipes.

Try New Recipes

As I mentioned earlier Always Eat After 7PM has some awesome recipes. These are mostly recipes that I’ve never tried. I’m going to take this time to venture out and try some new things. One recipe I plan to try is the Cheesy Ground Beef Skillet.

the Quarantine Fif..teen! I love it! But seriously, these are great goal setting ideas for losing that weight picked up in the past few months. Easy swaps and proper planning are great ideas to getting one back on track. I told a friend the other day to pretend that he had just been on vacation. Usually on vacation, you splurge on fun foods, a few cocktails, and just lazy fun. But as soon as you return from vacation, you immediately get back to a routine with better eating habits, work, and exercise!

This is a solid plan! I’m still struggling with giving up sugary food/sweets. I tried replacing it with fruits and water lemon, it kind of work but I still get tempted to open all my chocolates.

  16. I badly need this! Can’t help but gain more weight these quarantine period that I believe it’s not healthy anymore. Thank you for sharing these tips. I agree with you that it is best to replace sugary snacks with fruits. 🙂
