Losing the Quarantine 15

The quarantine has finally caught up to me. When I say it is caught up to me I mean I have put on the quarantine 15. I know I’m not alone in this. Stress leads to eating and weight gain. It happens.

Instead of beating myself up over this I’ve decided to accept the weight gain as it is and take healthy steps and take the weight off. So that brings me to Always Eat After 7PM.

One of the challenges of losing weight in the summertime is eating at night. It stays light so late in the summer. I’m sure you’ve heard from trainers and dieticians if you want to lose weight you have to stop the late night snacking. I don’t know about you all, but I especially have a hard time with this during the summer when the days are longer.

I’ve got good news for you. Author Joel Marion has debunked this diet myth in his book Always Eat After 7PM.

“Always Eat After 7PM is a three-phase program that teaches you how to lose big by strategically eating big when you are naturally hungriest – in the evening.”

Joel talks about what inspired him to write this book in the following interview:

Question: What inspired you to write the book?

Answer:  After authoring 6 best selling books it was glaringly obvious there were 2 huge misconceptions about dieting that needed to be exposed. The first is that you can’t eat late at night or before bed, which science now shows is NOT true. And second, you can’t eat large portions that satisfy your natural instinct. This book solves both these problems by providing an evidence-based, enjoyable approach to dieting that can be used by any person to quickly achieve their weight loss goals.

Question: How long did it take for you to develop the diet?

Answer:  It actually took several years of researching for me to discover the real science of eating late night. After a few years of tweaking and refining, I finally came up with a rapid fat loss solution that overcomes all the pitfalls of traditional diets.

Question: How difficult is the Always Eat After 7 PM plan to follow?

Answer:  It’s not. And that’s exactly why I wrote the book. While any diet is never truly easy, it can be more enjoyable and much easier to adhere to when you understand how Always Eat After 7pm works because it caters to our bodies natural instincts.

  1. This book sounds interested as I was always told to not eat after 6 – 6:30. Will definitely look into this after I give birth in a couple of months.

  2. I like to say “losing the Covid 19!” I keep hearing about this book. I need to check it out.

  3. It sounds like a good book. The important thing is, which ever diet one is following, to stay healthy and generally have a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, there are quite a few diet books out there are are straight dangerous to your health. Always eat after 7 PM seems like the diet program to follow.
