    Halloween is always an exciting time of year for my family. Carving pumpkins, trick or treating, eating all of the candy we could imagine. This year we did something a bit different for Halloween. We decided to abandon our usual trick or treating traditions to wonder over to Nashville for Geek Media Expo.     November is right around the corner. There are a lot of fun races coming up in November. Don’t let the cooling weather slow you down! Pick out one (or more!) of these races and go for it! Foothills Half Marathon Finally, a half marathon race on the Alcoa-Maryville Greenway! It’s East Tennessee, so it’s not totally flat, but with 90% of the race on the greenway, it’s just about as flat as possible for this region.
