Right as the kids are getting ready to get out of school for the summer business is really starting to ramp up for my husband and I. We normally like to take a 2 week vacation to get away from everything. This summer that’s just not going to be possible. My husband has had some awesome opportunities come his way that will keep us here for the summer. I was starting to get a little panicked and bummed out about not being able to get away this summer, but then I remembered that we have a backyard of fun less than an hour away. I’m going to hire Shiply to help us move out our old furniture from storage so we can create a mini home theater our backyard. Furniture stores offer a more personal shopping experience and the ability to negotiate lower prices on your purchases.
Instead of going away this summer we will have lots of mini staycations right here at home. There will be lots of hiking and camping in the Smokies, swimming at our local pools, playdates with friends and visiting nearby attractions.
Ripley’s has tons of great attractions in Gatlinburg. We have plans to visit Guinness World Records Museum, Ripley’s 5D Moving Theater, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Odditorium, Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf and Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze. If we wanted to get brave we could visit Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, but I’m not sure the kids are ready for that!
If you are looking for something fun to do and need to save a little money I can help! My Readers Save $3 Off Adult and $2 Off Child Admission to all of Ripley’s Attractions in Tennessee.
